The Faith InForm writers

The Faith InForm bloggers are a group of friends who have a deep desire to see young adults be transformed by the Gospel in mind, heart and deed. Our bloggers are committed to writing content that draws from their faith, the bible and their personal exepriences. We hope this is helpful in informing the faith of our readers. The writing they do for Faith InForm comes from a love for blogging, a heart for people and their own time and energy. They come from all walks of life including but not limited to husbands and wifes, moms and dads, pastors and working professionals. Learn a little about each of them below.

Simon Wha

Simon is a New York native exiled in Boston. He came to Boston and earned his Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Some of the most significant moments in his life took place in Boston. - he met and married his wife, pastored at Cornerstone Church of Boston and clarified his call to bi-vocational pastoral ministry. He currently serves as a lay member at Seven Mile Road and works at Hubspot as a support engineer. In his free time, Simon enjoys watching the Yankees, playing basketball and visiting places that are filled stories of his wife's childhood.

Stephanie Eriksen

Stephanie was born and raised in a Christian home where she grew up with three older brothers, three older sisters, and a boy she now calls her husband.  After graduating from Liberty University with a bachelors in Worship and Music, she and her husband of one year found out their southern based plans were no more.  What started out as a six month stay ten hours away from family has turned into five years, two little boys, and a house.  She is passionate about raising her two spirited boys to know and love Jesus, falling more in love with her computer programmer husband and singing.  If you stopped by during nap time you'd probably find her working on a DIY project, reading blogs or rearranging and organizing her boys' toys for the hundredth time.  She doesn't claim to have it all together, knows her life is messy and is so thankful for the Savior who stepped into her mess and calls her His own!

Dan Ko

Dan was born and raised in Chicago, but his heart and soul are buried deep in Boston soil. Unfortunately, his sports allegiances didn’t make the transition with him and he’s still patiently waiting for a world series under the lights at Wrigley Field. He not only loves Chicago sports, but he also enjoys rugged hip-hop, good food, and anything creative. He’s a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He hit the marriage lottery with his wife Caroline, and they love hanging with their son, Ezra, and their daughter, Addis. Following God’s call, the Ko’s are planting a church in one of the most diverse cities in the Bay State, Malden, a city just north of Boston.

Matthew Moran

Matt Moran lives just north of Boston with his wife Laurel, daughter Zoe, and son Ezekiel. Matt serves as Pastor of Gospel Communities at Seven Mile Road, and has a passion to see the implications of the Gospel lived out in the context of community. He loves the Bible, preaching, writing, reading, baseball, good coffee, and spending time with his family.

Katie Simington

Katie met Jesus at a very early age and has been on a wild journey with Him ever since. Her plans were always to either to become president of the United States or a single lifelong overseas missionary in Asia.  However, God's plans were for her to go to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, learn about grace in new ways and meet her husband David. They moved back to Boston in 2006. Katie attended Boston College to earn her M.Ed. and became an English teacher in a local Urban District.  She is currently on leave to raise her two (soon to be three) little ones. She is a compulsive reader, writer and debater. She has been a member of 7 Mile Road Church since it was named "Edgeworth," back in the day.

Hojin Yoo

HoJin was born and raised in New York City, departing to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to receive a B.A. in Economics. After committing to God's call on his life to ministry, he left for Massachusetts to attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity. HoJin is a licensed minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church and has been serving the young adults at Cornerstone Church of Boston since 2009. He is currently transitioning into the role of executive pastor at Cornerstone. HoJin is a newlywed man, marrying his wife Julie in August 2014 and enjoys sports, the outdoors, and good coffee.
